Mill Park Project
Using our nearby studio, In Bristol Studio (the permanent workplace of our collective), as a space for the local community to meet over the past 3 years, the residents of Cotton Mill Lane have played an integral role in the transformation of the park. With funding from the Arts Council, The Big Lottery Fund and Quartet, and unwavering participation from the community (especially the youngest members!) we have ran workshops to explore creative solutions to problems in the park, taken day trips to the zoo and gardens for inspiration, plated a sensory garden with the help of local children, ran after-school park clubs and organised seasonal events in the space. The result is stronger community with a park that everyone can be proud of.
